ResponsibilitiesIn addition to daily escrow officer duties, oversee day to day operations of the branch, daily activities and reporting. Provide guidance to the staff and be knowledgeable on company – escrow and title policies and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Adjust work load within the branchAssist staff with difficult transactionsReview of branch invoices for paymentTracks and records employee’s vacation and sick leaveReview and approval of staff timesheetsDevelops escrow documents in accordance with established policiesMaintains escrow records and acts as an escrow agentDraws and/or directs the processing of escrow instructionsFacilitates the escrow process by performing a review of the preliminary report to:Confirm that transfer documents are consistent with the preliminary report, as authorized in the escrow instructionsConfirm that escrow is in a position to cause the required policies of insurance to be issuedPrepares write up for issuance of title insurance policies consistent with principals of escrowReconciles between instructions and preliminary report with the Title Department and/or principals, and agents by obtaining modification of escrow instructions, assists principals to obtain releases of liens and other encumbrances as necessaryOpens escrow transactions; develops and/or obtains the appropriate escrow documentation in accordance with policy and procedures and applicable state and federal regulationsConfirms and implements the terms contained in escrow instructions involving the financing, sale or exchange of real propertyRegular and predictable attendance in the branchQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent3+ years related experience with directly handling escrow transactions as an escrow officer.Escrow Officer Certification from the Escrow Association or completion of escrow officer training program by a title company or bank is a termediate to expert level of Microsoft Office suiteAbility to provide leadership and be a mentor to the escrow teamAbility to evaluate performanceAbility to provide guidance and problem solve when employee issues ariseDemonstrate a clear understanding of the principles of title and escrow process and proceduresOverviewAre you looking for an incredible career opportunity?
