Senior Messaging EngineerChicago, IL – WFH 3 days/week, onsite 2 days/week in the loopSummaryThe Senior Messaging Engineer is responsible for operational support of and project initiatives for the global enterprise messaging environment, where you'll join a team of 4 engineers (you'll be the 5th). This position/team provides maintenance, support, and enhancements of the messaging systems including M365, Exchange, Outlook, Proofpoint, MDM Solutions, Email archiving, Active Directory, Azure AD and Application Performance Management.What you'll be doingServe as subject matter expert for email client software such as Microsoft Office 365Professionally coordinate, collaborate with and assist Customer Support (Tier 1 and Tier 2) personnel with messaging related incidentsInterface and coordinate with third-party software vendors as needed to achieve timely resolution of business impacting problemsProvide recommendations on optimizing the performance of system environment, including security best practices, reconfiguration, maintenance and/or upgradesTrain engineers and support specialist on operating and supporting messaging solutionsManage mail gateway systemsAdapt communication content, message, and terminology based on audience expressing ideas in a succinct manner using plain languageMonitor and analyze messaging to ensure 99.9% uptimeDocument system uptime and usage metricsProvide 24x7 On-Call support on a rotating basisSkills we're seeking7+ years of experience with Messaging Engineering experienceMust have strong Exchange experienceMust have strong ProofPoint experienceMust have strong Active Directory experienceMust have M365 experienceNice to havesMDM experienceAzure AD experienceBachelor's Degree, preferably in an IT related fieldRelevant certifications #J-18808-Ljbffr
