The product suite includes end-to-end collateral management, administration and servicing, analytics and optimization.This role involves managing all aspects of project execution, from initial planning and analysis to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards You will work collaboratively with regional and global cross-business partners and cross-organizational support functions (e.g., Sales, Onboarding, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance).Why this role is important to usWhen owners and managers of institutional assets need research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies, they turn to State Street. The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful delivery of high-profile projects. The Implementation Specialist will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered in time, within budget and meet quality standardsWhat You Will Be Responsible ForAs Implementation Specialist you willDrive Implementation StrategyDevelop relationships with key client contacts and ensure State Street is viewed as an integral, long-term partnerDefine project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.Set clear project goals and track progress using key performance indicators (KPIs).Execution And DeliveryLead project teams comprising analysts, associates, and other professionals, ensuring effective coordination and communication.Ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements and internal standards, coordinating with legal and compliance teams as neededStakeholder Communication And ManagementAct as the primary liaison between the bank, clients, and external partners, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare and present project updates, financial analyses, and final reports to clients and senior management.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.Financial Analysis And ReportingMonitor project budgets and financial performance, identifying and addressing any deviations.Prepare detailed financial reports and documentation for internal and external review.Risk Management And Quality AssuranceIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future project delivery.What We ValueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships with senior executives and clients.Understanding of or experience working in Collateral ServicesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressureExcellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in analysisProven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Clarity,).Capable of effectively prioritizing and escalating communication where appropriateEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced/graduate degree preferredCertifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are advantageous8+ years of collateral management, derivatives services or middle office operations or product management experience preferredAbout State StreetWhat we do.
