DevSecOps Engineer

Join to apply for the DevSecOps Engineer role at Sev1Tech LLC.Sev1Tech is looking for an Infrastructure as Code DevSecOps Engineer to support our federal customer's infrastructure-agnostic platform across various environments, including Government clouds, on-premise, disconnected, and classified settings. The engineer will deploy a CNCF Kubernetes-compliant DevSecOps platform with secured containers from the DoD Centralized Artifacts Repository to enable faster operational capabilities.Role ResponsibilitiesMaintain and support the DevSecOps stack across multiple security classifications.Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) to onboard and support platform teams across the DoD onto various Kubernetes distributions (upstream, Rancher, OpenShift, VMWare Tanzu, etc.) in diverse environments.Develop and leverage IaC/CaC technologies like Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes Operators to be cloud, on-premise, and edge agnostic.Enhance cybersecurity and code security processes across all environments.Create IaC/CaC changes for automated deployment into Cloud and other government and commercial cloud stacks.Implement DevSecOps solutions using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools; develop, test, and maintain containerized applications in Kubernetes; manage source control, build/release tools, CI/CD pipelines, and software build processes. Maintain a security-first mindset.Minimum QualificationsB.S. in Computer Science, Math, or related field.At least three years of experience managing CI/CD pipelines for various applications.Five years of experience in a DevOps environment with AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools.Active Secret clearance.Desired QualificationsExperience with Platform One tools and methodologies.Experience building and maintaining enterprise-wide CI/CD pipelines.Certifications such as CDP, CDE, CKAD.Join Sev1Tech to build better companies, enable better government, and protect our nation.
