Talent Acquisition at TikTok - Hiring for Global Payment Tech Team Overview The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, and reconciliations to ensure a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. Responsibilities Participate in and guide the architecture design, business requirements discussions, planning and research, and development of Global Payment Engage in the basic work of Global Payment R&D system optimization and R&D process specification optimization Analyze and deeply explore shortcomings of the existing system, locate bottlenecks, and improve performance and stability Think deeply about problems during system iteration to improve teamwork efficiency and development quality Introduce new technologies and solutions to the team based on business needs Promote cross-team key projects with strong project management, coordination, and communication skills Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant majors or equivalent working experience Experience in architecture design with the ability to understand business operations and design reasonable architecture solutions Experience designing and developing massive data and large-scale distributed systems Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms; able to apply to practical work Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills; proficient in at least one: Java / Python / Golang / C++ / PHP Strong communication and teamwork skills; flexible and motivated Strong learning ability and sense of product ownership Preferred Qualifications Experience managing the business structure of multiple lines or the entire product line; organized projects of medium or larger scale with good business awareness Deep understanding of database middleware, messaging middleware, and other infrastructure components of large-scale distributed systems Experience in system development in Internet finance / payment / e-commerce About Us Founded in 2012, ByteDance's mission is to inspire creativity and enrich life. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
