The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Cadence build and support, along with expertise in referral management and patient self-scheduling. Given the high degree of integration with the Ambulatory Orders team, experience supporting or building Epic Ambulatory Orders workflows is strongly preferred.This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate operational needs into scalable system solutions. Working under the direction of the Team Lead and/or Manager, the analyst will design, implement, and maintain application components. Responsibilities include system configuration, workflow development (including decision trees), validation of conversion data, testing, and analysis of new Epic releases for operational impact.The analyst will serve as a key partner in identifying integrated system needs, resolving cross-application issues, and driving improvements to the patient access experience. Success in this role requires both technical acumen and a deep understanding of scheduling operations in an ambulatory care environment.Required Certifications And SkillsEpic Cadence certification requiredEpic Referral & Authorization certification requiredEpic MyChart certification preferred (or obtained within 6 months of hire)Epic Decision Tree Badge preferred (or obtained within 6 months of hire)Proficiency in self-scheduling (open and direct scheduling) workflow buildExperience supporting or building Epic Ambulatory Orders workflows, particularly in integrated referral and scheduling processes, preferredAbility to serve as the primary analyst for Cadence, Referrals, and self-scheduling projects, collaborating effectively across integrated Epic applicationsThe final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.The salary range for this position is $102,100 - $187,600 (Annual Rate).To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: DescriptionClinical Systems and Health Informatics are responsible for all aspects of the clinical and business software applications of UCSF Health hospitals, practices, affiliates, and community partners. This includes the Electronic Health Record (APeX), which supports the clinical, revenue cycle, and clinical operational functions of the health system and its affiliates, and approximately 95 other software applications involved in patient care and cumbent must be able to adhere and emulate Clinical Systems and Health Informatics culture and core values as stated below:“People First: Patients are healthier and families happier with Clinical Systems to support them.
