To Apply for this Job Click HereRole: Scrum Master – Cloud Engineering & Cloud Security EngineeringLocation: Chicago – hybrid 3 days / week onsiteContract: September start – 6 months with likely extensions and FTE possibleSummary:Our client, a global financial institution headquartered in Chicago, is seeking two highly motivated Scrum Masters with experience in Agile delivery to support the cloud infrastructure team.The successful candidates will support one or more cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality cloud infrastructuresolutions and also help drive change and manage ongoing projects while working closely with management, engineers, and stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile principles and best practices, promoting continuous improvement.Guide and support teams to become self-organizing and cross-functional.Identify and address blockers and dependencies across teams.Collaborate closely with operational managers to ensure backlogs are refined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.Monitor and report on team performance, using data-driven insights to drive improvement.Enhance the use of AzureDevOps across the operation to ensure more efficient ways of working are established. Building and monitoring AzureDevOps and PowerBIdashboards for future metrics. Support the project managers and operational mangers in capacity planning.Skills:Must have:Prior experience working with cloud infrastructure teams.Demonstrated ability to manage cross-team dependencies and align delivery with strategic priorities.Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Nice to haves:Experience in use of ServiceNow.Background or understanding of cloud principles, frameworks, and toolsExperience in DevSecOps or integrating security into Agile/CI-CD workflows.Heitmeyer Consulting is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
