Director- DevOps

Fortinet is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Devops- Director to join our cloud computing DevOps team to work with software developers and other operational specialists to support our FortiCloud services. You will be involved with working in a wide variety of cloud computing technologies in both the development and operational stages. The everyday working environment is Linux servers, containers, Kubernetes, OpenStack, VMware and AWS.Responsibilities:Develop and implement technical strategy for Private Cloud design, deployment and operationCollaborate with leadership to implement long term vision of datacenter, Private Cloud and architecture strategyOversee a breadth of Cloud Services from conception to maintenanceManage project resources, timelines, and budgets to deliver productivity and high level of serviceProvide technical guidance in containerization, virtualization and datacenter architectureLead a team of 50 in the HQReport to Leadership of MIS in CanadaExperience and skills:Minimum of 5 years in leadership roleMinimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years focused on Kubernetes.Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, docker-compose and container orchestration.Experience with cloud platforms such as Openstack, VMware, AWS, GCP, or Azure.Experience with different Kubernetes orchestration tools such as Openshift, Rancher k3s and rke2, EKS etc.Strong knowledge of configuration management and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform).Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD).Proficient in scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash).Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix).Understanding of networking within Kubernetes (Istio, Calico, Cilium).Strong focus on security best practices in Kubernetes.Personal attributes:Highly motivated, positive, responsible and able to work in a mission critical on-call environmentExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.Excellent language skills in English - oral and writtenBonus experience:Experience with Fortinet cloud productCKA, CKAD and CKS certificateOther certifications of Cloud platform and networkingEducational Requirement:Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
