We’re searching for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join Aurora’s Data Platforms this role, you willLead design and development of data systems (both on- and offline) dealing with hundreds of petabytes of multimodal sensor collections, autonomy simulations, and ML datasetsHelp us improve the discoverability, throughput, and latency of our multi-modal offline dataCreate internal products and best practices to help us become more efficient, transparent and innovative as we launch our commercial Aurora Driver product.Mentor and grow our engineering team with new perspectives, technologies and designsRequired QualificationsExperience designing and deploying customer-facing large-scale data management systemsExperience with development and deployment of ML pipelines & infrastructureProven leadership in product development and launch8+ years of AWS infrastructure experience, including S3, Aurora, and SQS/SNS in a production environment5+ years of Golang development experience8+ years of C/C++ experience8+ years of Python development experience8+ years of RDBMS experienceThe base range for this position is $212,000 - $340,000. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
