About the OpportunityThis Cloud Operations Engineer position will help design, implement, and support Microsoft Azure Cloud environments. This position will work closely with the development teams, DevOps Engineers, and other IT Operations groups.Experience you’ll bring3-4+ years of knowledge and experience with Azure TechnologiesExperience building and maintaining infrastructure as code using TerraformWorking experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure AutomationAzure Network Security Group and Route Table experience;Strong Scripting experience in PowerShell or PythonProduction Operations ExperienceExperience meeting PCI, HIPAA, and Sarbanes-Oxley security requirementsBachelor’s degree preferredAbility to document clear/precise instructions for procedures or processesAbility to manage small to medium projects, providing clear concise project tasks and deliverablesStrong Windows Server Administration experienceStrong knowledge of Active Directory troubleshooting and supporting technologiesIt would be great if you already had the opportunity to work withCertified Azure Associate (AZ-104) or higherStrong Networking and Security ACL experienceAdvanced knowledge of Linux operating systemsAdvanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsHow you’ll make an impactDesign and build Azure environments using automated workflowsSupport various technologies housed within the Azure cloud environmentHelp develop a library of scripts to automate the WEX Azure cloud environmentsWork with development teams translating requirements into designs and automated workflowsAssist developers and DevOps teams with implementing automation scripts that follow the WEX standardsWork closely with Enterprise Architecture, Info Security (e.g., Azure Security Center), and Operations to develop automation that meet our standards and compliance plete projects and other duties as assignedTrain off-hours staff for duties that can be performed during non-business hours.Project lead on technology changesParticipate in the on-call support rotation .If you are looking for a growing career – come be part of WEX today!The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
