Your Role:The Data Architect plays a pivotal role in leading the design and oversight of APMG’s data infrastructure to ensure seamless integration, governance, and accessibility of data across all departments. This position directly supports the mission of our nonprofit by organizing and connecting data from critical domains, including fundraising, underwriting, finance, digital engagement, and operations, to drive informed decision-making, measure impact, and improve service to our constituents.This hands-on role is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive data architecture roadmap, ensuring that technology decisions are strategic, scalable, secure, and sustainable. The Data Architect will lead enterprise-wide data initiatives and collaborate with Information Technology peers on integration development and Azure platform support.As part of the responsibilities, the Data Architect will also contribute to selecting mission critical, cross-functional projects, such as the implementation of a new order management solution, where data mapping/modeling, integration, and collaboration with business users are critical to success.Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, as the Data Architect must build trust and alignment across departments, translate complex data concepts for non-technical audiences, and foster a culture of data-informed collaboration.Location: Hybrid, St. Paul, MN.Expected Compensation Range: $156,000 - $168,000 annually.
