We work across the company to ensure we have the tools and capabilities necessary for mission success.We are seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to join our internal tools team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining core platform services that empower other developers across the organization. Your work will directly impact the productivity and efficiency of our engineering teams.WHAT YOU'LL DODesign and implement scalable, reliable platform services such as centralized fine-grain permissions, AI infrastructure, and React component librariesCollaborate with other engineering teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that enhance developer productivityCreate and maintain APIs, SDKs, and documentation for platform servicesOptimize existing services for performance, scalability, and reliabilityContribute to the architecture and design of our developer infrastructureREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on building developer tools or platform servicesStrong proficiency in Node.js and ReactExperience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API designSolid understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical trade-offsStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience building and maintaining large-scale developer infrastructureFamiliarity with AI/ML technologies and infrastructureKnowledge of authentication and authorization systemsExperience with performance optimization and scalability challengesContributions to open-source projects or developer toolsExperience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, containerization)Join our team to build the foundation that enables our engineers to innovate and deliver high-quality products efficiently. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
