Junior/Assistant/Associate Specialist in deep learning and functional neuroimaging – Di Ianni LabJoin to apply for the Junior/Assistant/Associate Specialist in deep learning and functional neuroimaging – Di Ianni Lab role at University of California, San FranciscoThe Di Ianni Lab at UCSF (is seeking a highly motivated Junior/Assistant/Associate Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. Located in the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences on the Mission Bay campus, our lab focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies for functional ultrasound imaging, ultrasound neuromodulation, and image-guided neurointervention.The candidate will work on a project involving deep learning processing of functional ultrasound imaging data, developing and training new models, and validating neuroimaging methods. Responsibilities also include manuscript preparation and lab operations management under the supervision of the PI. This position offers an opportunity to engage in translational neurotechnology research in a collaborative environment with mentorship and career development opportunities.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree (or in progress) or at least four years of research experience.Prior experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Matlab, R).Experience with machine learning/deep learning models.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Qualifications must be met at the time of appointment; CV must state current/pending qualifications.Preferred QualificationsExperience with rodent handling, ultrasound research scanners, or medical imaging modalities is preferred.Apply online at with a CV and three references.
