OverviewDiscovery IT System Administrator (Top Secret Clearance Required)CGS is seeking a dedicated Discovery IT System Administrator to join a fast-paced and hard-working team to assist with legal accounts. As a Discovery IT System Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the company's portfolio.Base pay range: $124,895.40/yr - $169,500.90/yr. This range is provided by CGS Federal (Contact Government Services). Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.ResponsibilitiesContractor shall ensure the day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related toolsContractor shall administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management toolsContractor shall monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with vendors and developers to implement fixesContractor shall maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategiesContractor shall assist technical architecture design discussionsContractor shall liaise with vendors on behalf of OGC to address product issuesContractor shall develop and provide training for the end-usersContractor shall provide general support, subject matter expertise and advice on the use of electronic discovery tools and applicationsContractor shall reverse engineer and document the as-is architecture of existing legacy applications or systemsContractor shall analyze capabilities, interview and collect business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsContractor shall support the discovery application integration/migration activitiesContractor shall contribute to the Knowledge Management databases by creating and improving technical knowledge articles to aid future resolution of issuesContractor shall have legal technology experience and knowledge of the EDRMContractor shall assist in the implementation of e-discovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Veritas eDP, or other review platform applications hosted in the cloud environment)Contractor shall have the skills to support backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management and configurationContractor shall have the ability to install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022Contractor shall have the ability to operate and manage cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMware, Azure servers, Azure Functions, and Azure API Gateways and/or AWS EC2, AWS Lambda and AWS API GatewaysContractor shall have the ability to operate and manage relational databases such as MySQL and/or SQL Server 2012 or higherOur CommitmentContact Government Services (CGS) strives to simplify and enhance government bureaucracy through the optimization of human, technical, and financial resources.
