OverviewWithum’s Tax Services Group is made up of a brilliant team of tax specialists that work to ensure tax reporting obligations are met in an accurate and timely manner and minimize or defer the payment of taxes. Their comprehensive understanding of international, US federal, state, and local regulations allows them to help develop economical tax strategies anywhere. Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client services.PositionTech & Emerging Growth Tax Senior Manager in the following offices: New York City, New Jersey, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Ramon, Orange County or San Diego CA. You’ll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned CPAs and industry leaders. In this role, you will take a lead role on all aspects of tax engagements, supervise/mentor staff, and build/maintain relationships with clients.ResponsibilitiesAchieve associated growth goals in revenue, team head count and key ecosystem relationshipsServe as a focal point for collaboration, coordination and communication with your team and the national practiceLead a coordinated, cross-functional team to pursue technology and emerging growth opportunitiesAssist with establishing and achieving specific revenue and service growth goals for the regionParticipate in strategy sessions, marketing calls and events with the regional and national technology teamWork with industry and service line engagement teams to ensure resources and deliverables are provided to technology clientsProvide insights into the technology landscape and client positions to firm leadershipProvide thought leadership and contribute to industry and service line leadershipQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited institutionCPA, JD, LLM or MST requiredMinimum of 8+ years of professional services experienceExtensive experience with C-Corp Form 1120 tax filings and ASC 740 tax provisionsIndustry knowledge within Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth is a plusStrategic leadership and the ability to define market opportunities and deploy plansExperience in developing and deploying business development and relationship management practicesStrong multitasking, organizational, verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation skills and ability to lead meetings with senior executivesLeadership capability to set strategy and lead a teamProject management skills to manage time, tasks and deadlinesTeam-oriented with productive collaborationExperience with formal sales process deployment and CRM usageAbility to be a resource to team members and the technology communityAccountability and responsibility with no excusesDetail-oriented and outstanding relationship managementCreative problem solving and conflict resolutionAbility to monitor and report personal and client account performanceCompensation & BenefitsThe compensation for this position will vary by location. In addition to base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts depend on role, location, skills, experience and qualifications. State ranges include: California $125,000 - $240,000; New Jersey $135,000 - $230,000; New York $155,000 - $215,000.
