Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$150,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yrONWARD Headhunting is partnering with a client in Tampa, FL, or Nashville, TN (Hybrid) to search for a Vice President of Investment Banking specializing in the following enterprise software coverage areas: healthcare & life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, supply chain & retail, legal, education & workforce development, and energy, utilities & real estate. This role is designed for an experienced investment banker with a deep understanding of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory within enterprise software. The VP will play a key role in executing transactions, driving business development, and managing client relationships, while demonstrating strong leadership in deal structuring and execution.What you will be doing:Lead enterprise software-focused M&A and capital-raising transactions, managing the full deal lifecycle from origination to closing.Develop and expand client relationships by providing strategic financial advice and tailored solutions.Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence to support transaction execution.Partner with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and drive firm growth within the enterprise software sector.Mentor and oversee junior bankers, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring best-in-class client service.Manage complex negotiations, structuring transactions to align with client objectives and market conditions.What we are looking for:Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.10+ years of investment banking experience, with a focus on enterprise software transactions.Proven expertise in M&A execution, capital markets, and financial structuring.Strong understanding of enterprise software industry trends, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape.Demonstrated success in closing complex deals and building long-term client partnerships.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.This is an opportunity to take on a leadership role in a dynamic investment banking environment, driving impactful deals.
