For more information about DAWSON, please visit .Summary:This position provides strategic analysis, research, exercise development, staffing, and program management support for the Naval Treaty Implementation Program (NTIP). The work will be located at the Washington Naval Yard, Washington D.C.Job DescriptionSupport the Naval Treaty Implementation Program (NTIP) as a Compliance Assessment Program and Chemical Weapons Convention Analyst, focusing on implementation and compliance of arms control treaties and agreements under NTIP.Provide support for interagency issue analysis and resolution related to NTIP.Conduct technical analysis, studies, research, documentation, and support meetings.Collect treaty-required data, create reports, and coordinate white papers.Develop treaty compliance and implementation plans.Prepare and deliver technical studies, analysis, research, and documentation using Microsoft Office.Review and assess US Government, Department of Defense, and Department of the Navy international implementation and compliance reporting and certification requirements.Review inspection, visit, data exchange, declaration, and notification requirements per laws, regulations, and agreements.Familiarity with initiatives, CSBM regimes, conventional weapons, and emerging arms control initiatives.Monitor and perform data mining of Navy and Marine Corps databases and websites.Analyze arms control treaties, agreements, policies, and implementation plans.Prepare and deliver findings on arms control treaties and nonproliferation agreements.Act as Subject Matter Expert on US policy positions related to arms control and nonproliferation agreements.Use the C4I Suite for information management.Assist NTIP staff in preparing instructional products, training plans, and exercises.Maintain and test inspection support equipment for deployment at key locations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in education, human resources, business, or related fields.SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 6 months.At least 4 years of experience in arms control, international relations, or national security.Familiarity with authoritative documents and their application.Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.*Position is contingent upon award.DAWSON is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/VEVRAA federal contractor.
