Come join AWS Finance as a Finance Manager for the AWS Applied AI Solutions portfolio.ResponsibilitiesLeading and influencing strategic financial decisions to drive long-term growth and profitability, including evaluating pricing strategies and investments in new services and featuresFull P&L ownership of all services and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales to assess financial implications of initiatives to accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and improve free cash flowInfluencing private pricing structures to enable top line growth while ensuring controllership and margin protectionManaging projects that significantly impact the business, including partnering with engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure cost optimizationsLeading the OP1/OP2 and R&O planning processes, including evolving forecasting approaches to align with changing business needs and clearly presenting business drivers to senior leadershipContributing with deep-dive analyses and insights in Weekly, Quarterly, and Monthly Business ReviewsBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical fieldBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsMBA, MS in Finance, CFA or related fieldDemonstrated ability to develop and present analyses and insights to senior managementExperience in implementing financial reporting and scalable processesAbility to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentAbility to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completionStrong communication skills, including influencing decisions through verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and presenting alternativesStrong passion for complex problem solvingExcellent Excel skillsCompensation and BenefitsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
