SummaryAs a member of the executive team, perform the accounting and payroll duties necessary for the smooth operation of a multicultural and international company. Effectively manage Accounting and IT staffEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesBusiness and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management and reporting, including management and development of policies, systems, processes, and personnel involved.Reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report, and accounts.Management of strategy for and liaison with stock market, business press, and business analyst community.Financial staff management, motivation, training, recruitment, and selection.Contributing to strategic planning and development as a member of executive team, and keeping and distributing notes and records; reports to CEO on a frequent basis regarding company finances.Other areas of potential responsibility: company insurance, import/export administration, licensing, contracts and agreements, legal areas and activities, corporate level negotiations (i.e. premises, plant, trading, acquisitions and divestments, disposals), major supplier/customer/partner relationships, regulatory bodies relationships, and strategies, approvals and accreditations.Can also include IT responsibilities, especially if there is not an IT director.Can also include environmental responsibilities, if the environmental function/manager reports to CFO.Can also include quality assurance responsibilities, if the QA function/manager reports to CFO.Can also include health and safety responsibilities, if the H&S function/manager reports to CFO.Would also include “Company Secretary” responsibilities if there is not a separate one (i.e. statutory company administration responsibilities depending on relevant legal requirements).(If formal director) Execute the responsibilities of a company director according to lawful and ethical standards, as referenced in ... (whatever director policy and standards document you might use).Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred, but not required.CPA required.10+ years of progressive experience.Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.Finance and IT management experience within a manufacturing environment.Ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span.Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while still remaining hands-on with the day-to-day duties (posting journals, cutting checks, etc.).Information systems development and implementation.Expert in the following programs: Excel, Great Plains, ADP, FRX, and Outlook.Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.Technical skills and experience in financial reporting and analysis, cash flow management, mergers and acquisitions and information technology, including Local and Wide Area Networks.Employee training and development.Multicultural, international, and manufacturing experience.Strong customer orientation.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Self-starter and a strong team player.Ability to speak effectively and handle board presentations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
