CFO x 400K - 500K + bonus + equity x East LA

Job Title: CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Are you a seasoned CFO with an MBA from a top-ranking business school and extensive experience in project billing? We are seeking a strategic and innovative CFO to join an East LA professional services company. This role involves overseeing accounting, tax, FP&A, and providing strategic insights on transactional operations and payroll. The CFO will lead a team of over 25 professionals and collaborate with executive leadership across all business lines. Minimum Requirements: MBA in Finance from a top-ranking business school 20+ years of finance experience Previous experience as a CFO CPA (active or inactive) preferred Experience in a professional services environment, especially client bill-pay Willingness to be hands-on when necessary Residency in Los Angeles and willingness to commute onsite 5 days a week Key Responsibilities: Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop long-term financial strategies Provide insights to support growth, profitability, and risk management Lead budgeting and forecasting aligned with project timelines and revenue streams Analyze project, client, and departmental performance to inform decisions Manage cash flow, working capital, and oversee month-end/year-end close processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards Oversee audits, tax planning, and liaise with external auditors and advisors Implement systems for project accounting, billing, and time tracking Monitor project budgets and profitability metrics Evaluate and upgrade financial systems, including ERP and project management tools Build and mentor a high-performing finance team Benefits of this Role: Leadership role in a large organization Impact on the growth and strategy of a global company Strategic seat at the executive table Competitive bonus and equity packages If you meet these qualifications and are eager to grow your career as a CFO with an MBA from a top school and project billing experience, we encourage you to apply.
