The candidate will lead analysis, operations, and support for a high-volume, industry-leading team focused on the placement of debt and/or equity for commercial real estate transactions. The role involves financial modeling, underwriting, preparing offering memorandums, market research, quote and term sheet negotiation, and client meetings.Who you areYou are great with numbers AND people. You possess exceptional analytical and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and are always seeking process improvements.What you bringBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, private equity, or investment banking, with emphasis on complex financial modelingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with ARGUS modelingAbility to develop pro-formas from scratch and perform in-depth financial analysisStrong understanding of CRE valuation principles such as NPV, Income Capitalization, & IRRExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWhat success looks likeOptimize clients' real estate strategies through financial modeling, research, and analysis within the Capital Markets space in Boston and the surrounding region.Prepare detailed debt and/or equity quote matrices for client presentations and articulate the pros and cons of each offer to leadership.Conduct complex financial modeling and underwriting for prospective assignments, including development budgets and joint venture distributions/waterfalls.Design and build sophisticated financial models for properties with existing and speculative cash flows across various real estate sectors.Provide exceptional client service through analytical tools and cost-effective analysis influencing lease/purchase municate effectively and thrive in a collaborative environment, supporting client presentations, RFP responses, and business pitches.Deliver results with high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Manage due diligence processes including review of leases, appraisals, reports, income statements, rent rolls, mortgage notes, title searches, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
