PED plays a vital role in strengthening FEMA’s readiness and response capabilities by developing strategic plans, coordinating interagency exercises, and identifying areas for operational improvement.This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about public service, emergency management, and homeland security who are eager to make a tangible impact on national preparedness initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Support planning efforts that enhance FEMA’s operational readiness and emergency response capabilitiesAssist in the design, development, and evaluation of FEMA-led exercises, including tabletop, functional, and full-scale exercisesConduct research, data analysis, and after-action reviews to support continuous improvementHelp draft planning documents, exercise materials, and briefings for internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate with FEMA regional offices, federal partners, and other stakeholders in preparedness effortsTrack planning and exercise milestones, deliverables, and documentation to ensure project alignment and accountabilityQualificationsStrong research, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to synthesize information and write clearly for a variety of audiencesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management or data visualization tools a plusU.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or abovePreferred Qualifications:Internship or coursework related to emergency management, homeland security, or disaster planningExperience with exercise design, planning, or evaluation (e.g., HSEEP framework)Team-oriented with a proactive, self-starting attitudeFamiliarity with FEMA doctrine or national preparedness frameworks (e.g., NIMS, NRF, THIRA, SPR)Additional InformationEmployment is contingent upon contract award.BryceTech offers a full range of benefits, including competitive salary, a comprehensive health plan including dental and vision coverage, company-paid life & disability insurance policies, 401(k) plan with company match, and an educational reimbursement program.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
