Senior Acquisition Analyst - Position Description We have immediate hire openings for Senior Acquisition Analyst to join our PMS 377 Team supporting a PEO Ships Amphibious Warfare Program Office in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have experience in the US Navy Amphibious Ship Acquisition Process and will have experience supporting US Navy ship acquisitions in various stages from Pre-Systems Acquisition (Concept and Technology Development Phase) through Systems Acquisition (System Development and Demonstration Phase and Production and Deployment Phase) to sustainment (Operations and Support Phase). Familiarity with NAVSEA is a plus. Security Clearance Applicants must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Position/Job Description General Tasking Description: Assist the government in drafting, analyzing, evaluating, integrating, reviewing, and providing recommendations for Milestones and other documentation in accordance with Government, DoD, and Navy regulations. Assist in the scheduling, identification, and preparation of draft program acquisition strategies and plans. Investigate alternative strategies as required and provide assessments for each alternative. Provide risk-based assessments of new processes and technologies. Recommend plans for shipbuilding industry involvement. Assist the Government in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating studies, concept studies, and feasibility studies. Support in the development of documentation that delineates program data, ship/system configurations, corrections, changes, and enhancements to the total ship, including both hardware and software. Experience Requirements 15 years of professional experience in US Navy Amphibious ship acquisition programs. Experience with the following documentations: PPP Top Level Requirements (TLR) Operational Requirements Document (ORD) or CDD Capability Production Document (CPD) TEMP C4I Support Plan Acquisition Program Baseline Systems Engineering Plan SAR Acquisition Strategy Report Cooperative Opportunities Exit Criteria Cost Analysis Requirement Description Component Cost Analysis Program Life Cycle Cost Estimate Independent Cost Estimate Manpower Estimate Affordability Assessment Risk Assessment National Environmental Policy Act Schedule Program Environmental, Safety, and Health Evaluation Independent Logistics Assessment, Industrial Capabilities Independent Technology Assessment Educational & Certification Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
