We specialize in contractor-style estimates using HCSS HeavyBid. Tasks include performing detailed quantity takeoffs, constructability analysis, CPM schedules using Primavera P6, risk analysis, and more, relying on our collective industry experience.As a Chief Estimator, you will oversee a team of estimators in developing accurate construction cost estimates for complex heavy civil projects. This role requires expertise in the estimating process, HCSS HeavyBid, estimating libraries, and heavy civil construction, with collaboration across multiple teams and clients.Key Responsibilities:Review project cost estimates for quality, consistency, and organization according to KCI standards.Maintain and develop estimating libraries and templates with Practice Leaders.Assist in marketing and business development by identifying new opportunities and developing client proposals.Participate in estimate reconciliation and support estimating staff.Lead estimation projects when necessary, managing teams and interfacing with clients.Develop costs for specific items as a Senior Estimator.Collaborate on cost-effective solutions and assist in CPM schedule preparation.Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes for competitiveness and scope alignment.Identify and strategize around project risks and opportunities.Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.Mentor junior estimators and promote best plete tasks within budget and schedule, meeting project scope and utilization targets.Ensure compliance with policies, ISO standards, and conduct performance appraisals. #J-18808-Ljbffr
