This will be an in-person role.ResponsibilitiesWork in partnership with the senior analyst to conduct extensive company and industry researchCreate financial models and valuation analysesWrite company reports, industry reports, and develop investment recommendationsForm relationships with company management teams through meetings, calls, roadshows, etc.Make company visits and attend industry conferencesAs associates develop industry expertise, they will have additional responsibility for marketing their team's research and investment recommendations to our sales force and to institutional investorsRequirementsMust have at least one year of Equity Research or Investment Banking experience preferredFinancial Services industry background preferred (Banking, Fintech, Payments, etc.)The associate position is a demanding and fast-paced job that requires the ability to think quickly on one's feet and work independentlyStrong candidates will have an intense interest in the stock market and a demonstrated record of professional, academic and personal achievementOutstanding interpersonal and written communication skillsOutstanding quantitative and organizational skillsA strong competitive spirit balanced by a proven ability to work as part of a teamBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics requiredStrong financial modeling experience requiredSecurities Industry Essentials, Series 86 and 87 required (or willingness to obtain)Progress towards CFA a plusAs a leading investment bank, we enable growth and success for our clients through deep sector expertise, candid advice and a differentiated, highly productive equities, our sales & trading teams facilitate public offerings in our core sectors and dedicate significant levels of firm capital to ensure the highest aftermarket support.
