This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformative, mixed-use office and retail campus, housing diverse businesses and high-profile tenants, including the Brooklyn Nets headquarters. Experience in commercial real estate is highly preferred and will distinguish candidates in this competitive process.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the general ledger, conduct financial statement analytics, and implement policies to enhance automation and benchmarking.Perform forensic account analysis, prepare and review journal entries, oversee cash management, and reconcile bank statements.Consolidate financial data, assist in preparing financial statements, and collaborate with auditors.Provide financial insights for management decisions, oversee budgeting processes including automation with MRI software, and supervise accounts payable.Evaluate and improve accounting operations, internal controls, and software functionalities.Develop business performance metrics and support ad hoc projects as needed.Qualifications3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial real estate.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Strong knowledge of tax and accrual reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with MRI Software and Spreadsheet Server is a plus.Additional DetailsSalary range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
