Join us on our journey of growth and success!We're currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Estimating Analyst located in Los Angeles, CA .Required EducationGraduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or any related fieldORCandidates without the required degree must have additional 4 years of the required experience to compensate for the education requirementsRequired Certifications/LicensesRequired Qualifications:In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.Minimum three (3) years of full-time paid professional experience in cost estimating AND data analysisMinimum two (2) years' experience in public agencies performing related duties assignedExperience in developing, organizing and maintaining cost data tablesKnowledge of science research and analytical methodsAbility to analyze construction cost trends and generate graphs, database, and reports and prepare presentations for stakeholdersAbility to compare the cost estimates with contractor proposals or bids to identify significant differences and probable causes for the discrepanciesAbility to work independently and without supervisionExcellent research and analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsResponsibilitiesGenerates and updates Prevailing Wage table per current market trendsResearch, collects, and updates construction material costs and indexesAssists cost estimators in various comparison analysis on construction cost estimatesAssists in reviewing contractors' claims and proposals for accountabilityReviews analysis of construction life cycle costsPrepares and conduct cost benefit analysisProvides support in construction costs and bid review and comparisonsConducts research on recent cost and price changes in supplies and servicesPrepares special reports and research pertaining to construction cost trends and activitiesPerforms other related duties as assigned.Salary$126,000.00 - $132,000.00 annuallyBonus PayA bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.CMTS LLC offers 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, 401k, life, and long-term disability insurance coverage for employees.CMTS, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate based on actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, sex, marital status, pregnancy, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
