This is a unique opportunity to oversee a multi-billion-dollar real estate portfolio, develop long-term asset strategies, and help shape Miami’s future educational and community infrastructure. The Administrative Director will play a pivotal role in aligning real estate investments with district and community goals, while ensuring the responsible stewardship of public resources. Job Duties Oversee strategic planning and management of the district’s real estate portfolio. Lead acquisitions, leasing, dispositions, and negotiations with developers, agencies, and private partners. Develop and implement policies for the efficient and effective use of real estate assets. Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to guide decision-making. Collaborate with district leadership, school administrators, government agencies, and community stakeholders. Represent the district in negotiations, acquisition matters, and legal proceedings (including eminent domain). Apply data-driven analytics to optimize portfolio performance. Oversee personnel and ensure policies comply with School Board regulations. Qualifications Master’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or related field, with 5+ years of senior real estate leadership experience. OR Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Planning, or related field with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience. Familiarity with eminent domain and public-private partnerships. Expertise in quantitative analytics and real estate finance tools. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
