At PGIM, You Can!PGIM Quantitative Solutions is looking to hire an Investment Associate to with work with the Quantitative Equity Portfolio Management team. The success of PGIM Quant Equity is a function of a number of factors, including the firm’s leading-edge quantitative portfolio management capabilities. The portfolio management team is responsible for stock selection and portfolio construction research with direct accountability for portfolio performance.What you can expect:Assist our Quant Equity Solutions Portfolio Managers with implementation and execution of all dimensions of the investment process, including cashflow management, portfolio optimization, corporate actions, proxy votingProvide analytic and programming support for portfolio management and investment-related researchProvide analytic support for client-related presentations and researchDevelop and maintain performance attribution reports for investment portfolios. Assist in the development of written pieces explaining relative performance to clientsDevelop and maintain risk management reports for portfolio managementParticipate in PGIM Quant Equity research seminarsParticipate in internal and external investment meetingsWhat you will bring:Bachelor’s degree required in related discipline; STEM program preferredOne to three years of work experience in a related field is desirable but not requiredStrong evidence of outstanding academic achievement, and strong foundation in investments, economics, and statisticsQuantitative and programming skills (Linux, R, Python, VB)Experience with FactSet and BloombergExcellent verbal and written communicationMost importantly, strong attention to detail is requiredWhat will set you apart?Master’s degreeCFA designation, or interest in pursuing is desired.Able to work in a team environment while taking individual responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work.Excellent time management skills; work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines.PGIM believes in the Power of a Hybrid work arrangement. The base salary range for this role is from $100,000 to $125,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
