That’s what GLS has done for over 10 years, helping more than half a million families meet and improve their transportation needs.What does it mean to be a Director, Loan Sale Program at GLS?The Director, Loan Sale Program functions within the Treasury & Capital Markets team and is responsible for managing the Company’s loan sale program, including identifying new investors, marketing and administering the program, structuring and negotiating transactions, executing loan sales, maintaining relationships with program partners, and leading analyses as required to support all aspects of the program.Key ResponsibilitiesHow will you drive value within the organization as a Director, Loan Sale Program?Raise capital to support the Company’s financial plan, working closely with stakeholders, FP&A, and Treasury & Capital MarketsMarket the loan sale program to new potential investorsStructure, negotiate, and close loan sale transactions with whole loan program partnersManage the renewal of, and amendments to, existing loan sale agreementsManage ongoing loan sales, coordinating closely with the ABS team to leverage loan buyer assets efficientlyLead and direct analytical activities, including cash flow modeling, as required to optimize deal structures, predict investor returns, address investor questionsWork closely with Treasury Operations to ensure the loan sale program is properly and efficiently administeredAssist in the enhancement of reporting processes to loan sale partners and ensure partners receive timely and accurate information; prepare financial reports as neededBuild and maintain relationships with loan buyers through effective communication and strong conceptual knowledge of both the GLS business and the various loan sale structuresMonitor program, loan pool, and facility performance, anticipate potential issues, and develop remediation plansFollow market trends, particularly in the loan sale and credit markets, to provide strategic input on deal structures and financing optionsDirect the due diligence process with prospective loan buyersIdentify and correct operational issues across all loan sale processes, from onboarding to closing and continued reporting on transactionsWork closely with internal departments to evaluate new products and markets for potential inclusion in the loan sale programTrain and develop junior team membersPerform special projects, research, and other duties as assignedThe CandidateExperience and Professional QualificationsWhat should you already know to be successful as a Director, Loan Sale Program?This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 - 6 years of finance experience, preferably in capital markets, and asset-backed finance or investment bankingStrong knowledge of capital markets, structured finance, accounting, and interest rate hedgingFamiliarity with SQL and experience working with large datasetsDemonstrated problem solving ability and strong analytical skillsDetail-oriented, quick learner with ability to work independently and in cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong team player able to thrive in a fast-paced growth environmentCommitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competenciesExcellent interpersonal skills: friendly and tactful with the ability to influence others, effectively manage conflict, exercise sound judgement, effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships across the business.Ability to think strategically and deliver tacticallySkills and CompetenciesEmployment Requirements:This position is full-timeThis job operates in a professional office environment, primarily indoorsSignificant portions of daily assignments involve application of manual skills requiring motor coordination in combination with finger dexterityThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quietBe able to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, bending, and kneelingThe position may require travel, approximately 10%EducationThis position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 - 6 years of finance experience, preferably in capital markets, and asset-backed finance or investment bankingCompensation:$130-160k base + bonus.Seniority levelSeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionFinanceReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Confidential Company by 2xGet notified about new Director Capital Market jobs in Greenville, SC.Divisional Vice President of Retail SalesDirector, Business Development - 1898 & Co.Director, Business Development - 1898 & Co.Greenville, SC $80,000.00-$95,000.00 3 weeks agoWe’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
