OverviewThe MIL Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Manager (Financial Consulting, Senior Manager) to lead teams supporting a federal government client in Washington, DC. This role supports the modernization of agency onto the Momentum financial platform by leading teams who are managing modernization efforts, developing accounting structures, documenting configurations & interfaces, managing data, supporting organizational change, conducting training, conducting testing, supporting cut-over, and developing reports. This position currently requires a remote schedule, with the ability to travel to site as needed. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. This position is currently unfunded and is being posted in anticipation of a future contract award and funding approval. We are proactively identifying and engaging with qualified candidates. While candidates may be contacted for pre-screening, any hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and final program requirements or client approval.ResponsibilitiesSupport modernization project planning, coordination, risk tracking, and status reportingDocument, validate, and organize accounting structures in compliance with federal guidanceDocument configuration items, system builds, and interfacesCoordinate infrastructure and cutover readiness activitiesMonitor and address financial data issuesAnalyze reporting needs and create and test custom reportsDesign and deliver financial system training sessionsSupport communications and stakeholder engagementCreate and execute functional testing and defect trackingRequired Qualifications8+ years of professional work experienceExperience leading teams to integrate federal financial management processesExpertise in federal financial planning, cost management, and budget executionUnderstanding of federal guidance for financial management and applicationsExperience working with the Momentum financial platformExperience in a US federal agency performing activities listed for this roleStrong communications skills for both financial and business informationStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExperience working with stakeholders and users on financial issuesDesired QualificationsExperience working with clients on Momentum implementationsEducationBA/BSClearancePublic TrustCompensationThe MIL Corporation values your contributions and offers a range of benefits to support your overall well-being. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.
