Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yrUSAC’s target compensation range for a new hire into this position is $60,000 - $88,165 USD per year. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors based on knowledge, skills, and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual performance bonus. We are currently seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as an Experienced Auditor on our Audit & Assurance team.This is an outstanding career opportunity for an individual interested in a genuine professional challenge in support of a public-spirited mission.Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the Financial Auditor position will perform specialized audits within the four USF support mechanisms and contributors.ResponsibilitiesPerform specialized compliance audit work in accordance with applicable audit standards.Prepare clear and concise audit work papers, reports, and other communications to document audit procedures performed and exceptions municate audit results, in oral or written format, to the auditee and USAC management.Perform project management duties over individual workload.Assist in other audit special projects as needed.About YouThe successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment and will be crucial for the success of the audit division.Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant technical training and certifications. A combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work may be considered.Two (2) to Four (4) years of directly related experience.One (1) to Two (2) years of recent financial statement audit experience (i.e., last 5 years) and/or technical experience.High level of proficiency in the following tools: Microsoft Excel, Visio, and MS ProjectAbility to handle a large variety of details and work with all levels of the organization.Analyze and develop solutions to problems.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Prepare and deliver information in a clear, concise, and professional manner.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.Ability to translate complex analytical findings into comprehensive insights for business stakeholders.Ability to travel out of town on a periodic, as needed basis.USAC is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
