Manager – Financial Planning and StrategyChicago, IL (loop – onsite 3 days, WFH 2 days)*No direct reports in this role – you have a manager title, but you'll be an individual contributor for at least the first year*What you'll be doingBuild and maintain financial models and run company/fund/portfolio-level analytics on an ongoing and ad-hoc basisCreate presentations for senior management, investors, and external parties using PowerPointPresent research, analysis and recommendations to senior management, investors, and external partiesCollect, evaluate, and present macroeconomic, real estate sector, industry, and public / private market statistics, trends, and transaction activityCollaborate with internal stakeholders to create and maintain unit-level and portfolio-level analyticsWork closely with the Accounting, Investments, and Data Analytics teams to ensure data integrity across the entire portfolioCoordinate with internal and external investor finance groups in supplying informationTrack and evaluate portfolio, capital structure, and financial and operating performance relative to peersSynthesize, cleanse, and monitor financial, operating, and portfolio data received from various internal teamsImprove quality and efficiency of reporting to senior management and investorsHandle special projects and analyses, as assignedSkills we're seekingBachelor's Degree required3+ years of experience as an Analyst in Investment Banking or Consulting, focusing on transactional deal analysis such as corporate development, M&A and/or Asset ManagementAdvanced financial analytical skills and experience building financial complex models with ExcelStrong experience building PowerPoint decks for investor presentations – and delivering presentations to executives with your analysisNice to have experience:Experience with structuring and executing capital markets and corporate-level strategic transactionsExperience using a tool like Power BI, Tableau or something similar to crate reports and dashboardsExperience with SQL #J-18808-Ljbffr
