The FAA’s System Engineering and Technical Innovative Solutions (SETIS) portfolio provides a broad range of research, service analysis, strategic planning, systems engineering (SE), technical, financial, and programmatic support services to enable the FAA to achieve its National Airspace System (NAS), Mission Support, and other aviation-related objectives.This diverse work includes technical, financial, and programmatic support services within the FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS) Lifecycle Management Policy activities, such as:Systems engineering and integrationInvestment and business case analysisSystem acquisition program planning and managementSystem development and implementation planning and managementSystem Life Extension Program/Technical Refresh planningProgram and contract managementForecasting and business/financial/information managementAdditionally, the candidate will be involved in activities related to Aviation, Innovation, and New Entrants outside the AMS Lifecycle Management Policy, including research, analysis, and assessment supporting the development of systems, standards, policies, published rules, and procedures.Responsibilities:Conduct research, evaluations, analyses, and studiesPresent recommendations/solutions for short and long-term program planningManage configuration, Earned Value, financials, costs, and risksAssist the program manager in defining and executing tasks, work assignments, and ensuring product qualitySupport, track, and manage programs, activities, issues, deliverables, and projectsPrepare and present regular status reports, analyze issues, and coordinate with project managersServe as a liaison, providing written and oral responses to inquiries from customers and teamsRequired QualificationsProgram Analyst Qualifications:FAA experience highly desiredExperience in project management processes, tools, techniques, Earned Value, financial, cost, resource, and risk managementStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsProven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams in a dynamic environmentLeadership, influence, and collaboration skills; ability to interact with technical, management, and executive stakeholdersFlexibility and adaptability to changing prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsCustomer service and goal-oriented mindsetPMP certification or related training is a plusA Bachelor’s Degree in any field is required. Depending on experience and education, various levels of skill will be considered, with substitutions available for relevant experience:6+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degreeMaster's Degree may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years’ experiencePhD may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years’ experienceNote: Work experience unrelated to the labor category will not count towards relevant experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
