This role focuses on delivering differentiated tax technology solutions that enable clients to manage indirect tax obligations more efficiently and accurately.Your OpportunityBe part of a team that builds and delivers sustainable tax technology strategies in a rapidly evolving field driven by new laws, regulations, and technologies.Your Key ResponsibilitiesChallenge the effectiveness of the tax technology strategy and approach for engagements while building relationships with clients and stakeholders.Identify opportunities to use technology to accelerate and enhance delivery of indirect tax services.Contribute to pursuing and delivering client projects, developing transformative solutions, and mentoring a technically diverse team.Ensure quality and commercial value in work products, manage risks, and keep key stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop architecture that aligns with business strategy and existing building blocks.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in technology, information science, accounting, or finance with a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or a graduate degree with ~6 years of related experience.Approved technical certification, CPA license, or state Bar membership.Hands-on technical experience with data-driven solutions using modern analytics and AI technologies.Experience with Microsoft Azure, IBM watsonx, or Databricks stack.Strong interest in AI and emerging technologies to optimize business processes.Experience designing scalable databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, for robust analytics.Strong communication skills with executive stakeholders and the ability to convey complex architecture to technical and non-technical audiences.Adaptive mindset to evolving customer needs and technology trends; strong organization and time management; and leadership experience with cross-functional teams.Willingness to travel as required to support client engagements.What We Look ForWe seek people ready to join a highly engaged, diverse, and dynamic team, with a client focus and interest in leveraging technology to improve business processes, data modelling and analysis, and a drive to exceed expectations.What We OfferEY offers future-focused development, a flexible environment, and an inclusive culture with globally connected teams.
