The Financial Aid Director is responsible for management and administration of all policies, processes, and activities related to SCC’s federal Title IV, state, and local student financial aid, scholarships, loans and work study awards. Provides oversight and makes decisions regarding the planning, implementation, organization, maintenance, and evaluation of staff and institutional functions related to student financial assistance. Serves as college’s Chief Compliance Officer providing guidance and monitoring of SCC’s adherence to laws, regulations, and reporting requirements associated with Title IV funding and other governing bodies.This position is a full-time position (261 workdays per year). The minimum starting salary is $75,000 per year.Benefits include medical, dental & vision insurance, $50,000 life insurance, long-term disability, paid sick leave, paid discretionary leave, 15 days' vacation, paid spring and holiday breaks and participation in IPERS or TIAA-CREF retirement plan.The Financial Aid Director will be primarily located at the West Burlington campus but is expected to regularly work out of the Keokuk campus to maintain a strong familiarity with the employees, students, and operations at that location (e.g. 2 -4 times a month). Must be able to work on a basis of “available as work demands” in addition to a fixed schedule, which may include evenings and weekends. In addition, the individual in this position will actively promote a positive image for the college district.The Financial Aid Director will abide by the employment contract and relevant policies and guidelines of the Board of Trustees.Review of applications will begin in late September, 2025.
