Senior Manager, Finance - Product StrategyWe are seeking a talented and enthusiastic finance leader to support our Electronics Products and Engineering teams within our Acuity Brands Lighting segment. This experienced finance professional will be a strategic financial thought partner to the Electronics leadership team, translate financial results into actionable insights, and will be the primary connection point for finance to the supported groups. Responsibilities include: partnering in the strategic planning process for Electronics, advising on capital allocation, developing options for funding strategic initiatives, evaluating investment opportunities, interpreting and communicating financial results, and driving process improvements and productivity (financial and non-financial).This is a hybrid position in Atlanta, GA with opportunities for on-site collaboration across our Electronics footprint.Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Interpret and communicate concise financial results with actionable insights to close current gaps and improve future results.Develop, present, and advise on financial modeling to enable execution of strategic initiatives.Provide business insights and guidance to the annual planning process and three-year goals for Sales, Commissions, Operating Expenses, and Capital investments.Drive cross-matrix relationships and projects to help execute strategic priorities.Guide operational finance team to deliver insightful reporting and analysis to help guide the business.Develop and support executive summaries and presentations, including BOD materials.Skills And Minimum Experience RequiredBachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Etc)6 to 8 years in financeActively strives to build strong partnership with business leadersAbility to lead and influence (directly or indirectly) to achieve resultsAbility to work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, and OperationsAble to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from itProvides practical solutions to problems; participates in and leads various discussions/meetings to mitigate issuesAbility to communicate clearly across multiple channels of communication (verbal, email, PowerPoint presentations).Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAdvanced Technical Skills (Excel, PPT, PowerBI, Oracle/ OneStream or other ERP experience)Strong understanding of US GAAPPreferred Skills And ExperienceMBA or CPA preferredManufacturing IndustryProduct Development and SaaS preferred work experiencesTravel RequirementsDomestic and/or International 25-50%We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
