Finance Manager, Enterprise BU

OverviewWe are building out the Finance team to help make data-driven and financially sound decisions for Scale. The Finance team drives strategic, financial, and operational decisions by partnering with the leadership team to make critical decisions across Scale.The Finance team owns the company’s budget, drives quarterly and annual planning processes, allocates resources efficiently, and performs financial analyses to inform key decisions. In this role, you will work closely with the GM of a key business unit to use quantitative insights to drive decision-making for the BU. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills to support recommendations and strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesBusiness partnership role on the Strategic Finance team supporting a nascent but growing Product and Business Unit; supports the General Manager of the BU and may support Sales and Engineering teamsPartner with cross-functional teams to develop strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, including pricing and GTM strategy and other initiativesCollaborate with Engineering and Operations to manage headcount and expense forecasts, own weekly and monthly financial reporting, KPIs, presentations, and other critical analysesCreate internal executive reporting including forecast/close, financial reporting, investor reporting, and management presentationsPartner with Accounting to support month-end close, flux review processes, and deliver high-quality financial reportingQualifications4+ years of financial analysis experience in Corporate Finance or Strategic Finance2 years of investment banking experienceStrong project management, data manipulation, process improvement, and analytical skillsProficiency with Google Suite and MS Office; expert Excel modeling skillsNice to haveBachelor’s degree in finance or accounting2 years of management experience in a corporate finance roleExperience with SQL and Business Intelligence toolsExperience with Anaplan and/or Adaptive InsightsCompensation packages include base salary, equity, and benefits. The stated salary range reflects minimum and maximum targets for new hires, varies by location and other factors. Eligible Scale employees may receive equity-based compensation; specifics shared during hiring. Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, a learning and development stipend, and generous PTO.
