About The RolePubMatic is immediately hiring a Revenue Manager to join our growing team in Redwood City. Reporting to the Associate Director, Revenue Accounting, this key contributor will have broad responsibilities including revenue accounting, accounts receivable and publisher payments. The Revenue Accounting Manager will work with other functional areas (e.g. Ad Solutions, Publisher Development, Customer Success, FP&A, Engineering and Legal) to review new and existing contracts, resolve discrepancies and implement process improvements. The Revenue Accounting Manager will also be an integral part of the accounting team in the monthly close and account reconciliation process.What You/'ll DoReview existing contracts and amendments to resolve issues (including discrepancies, makegoods and payment delays) with customers and publishersWork with cross-functional teams on issues surrounding discrepancies, invalid traffic and margin reviewsPerform/review month-end activities including journal entries/account reconciliations (including bad debt, chargebacks, negative AR and negative AP), uploads (including billing and publisher costs) and variance analysis (at account level and individual customer/publisher)Perform quarter-end reports related to revenue metrics for 10-k reportingPerform various ad hoc activities as required for finance and other internal/external stakeholdersAssist with cash collection, forecasting and credit checking as requiredAssist with accurate publisher payments as well as address frequent publisher questions as requiredAssist with preparation of audit deliverables and inquiriesContinually identify and implement process improvementsWho You AreBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent professional experience5+ years of related experience in a corporate environmentProficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookupStrong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skillsPrior experience with Salesforce & NetSuite systemsPrior experience with digital advertising or ad techAdditional InformationReturn to OfficePubMatic employees throughout the globe have returned to our offices via a hybrid work schedule (3 days “in office” and 2 days “working remotely”) that is intended to maximize collaboration, innovation, and productivity among teams and across functions.BenefitsOur benefits package includes the best of what leading organizations provide such as paid leave programs, paid holidays, healthcare, dental and vision insurance, disability and life insurance, commuter benefits, physical and financial wellness programs, unlimited DTO in the US (that we actually require you to use!), reimbursement for mobile and fully stocked pantries plus in-office catered lunches 5 days per week.Diversity and InclusionPubMatic is proud to be an equal opportunity employer; we don’t just value diversity, we promote and celebrate it.
