Onsite onboarding in Tempe, AZ is required, with hybrid flexibility after ramp-up—and remote may be an option for exceptional candidates.Why join us?Excellent Benefits, Remote Work, Growth Opportunity, Great Culture, PTO, 401K, and much more!Job DetailsResponsibilitiesReview complex individual (1040) tax returns for high-net-worth clients with $5M–$50M+ in assets.Oversee multi-state filings for S-Corps, partnerships, and LLCs with entities operating across 5–10 states.Coordinate with internal advisors on integrated wealth strategies across real estate, retirement, and business holdings.Provide strategic and creative tax planning for closely held businesses, estates, and family structures.Prepare and review complex federal, multi-state, and local tax filings for individuals, trusts, and entities.Serve as a trusted advisor to HNW individuals and their investments, entities, etc.Collaborate across investment, legal, and accounting teams to integrate tax strategies into broader financial plans.Monitor tax law developments and proactively identify opportunities or areas of risk.Drive process improvements and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge municate clearly and effectively with clients on tax matters and implications.Maintain thorough documentation in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.5+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably with HNW clients or within a family office environment.CPA license required.Preferred Master’s in Taxation or related.Experience reviewing complex tax returns for individuals and multi-state pass-through entities. Strong multi-state tax knowledge (5–10 states preferred).Experience with trust, estate, and partnership taxation.High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Excellent written and verbal communication fortable with onsite presence in Tempe, AZ for the first 90 days; hybrid thereafter (3 days/week).Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
