We have over 50 active relationships with fund managers and have coinvested in hundreds of companies.What impact can you make in this role?You will be part of a team that is one of the largest, and most established private equity investors in the world today.What will you do as an Associate?Work as a key member of small deal teams to assess and execute private equity fund investments and co-investments across various strategies and industriesPresent and defend investment proposals to Investment CommitteesHelp monitor and maintain relationships with existing managers and source potential new fund managersRepresent GIC at fund managers’ annual investor meetings and participate in meetings with the leaders of PE firms and the management teams of prospective co-investmentsWork on special projects typically related to strategy, portfolio planning and portfolio constructionWhat qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?BA/BS with strong academic qualifications.At least 1 year of work experience at a leading investment bank, consulting firm or in the Private Equity industryIdeally the candidate would have had at least some exposure to the Private Equity industryExcellent financial analysis and modelling skillsStrong commercial judgmentA team-player, with maturity, integrity and the ability to engage with senior counterpartiesStrong written and oral communication skillsWell-organised, hard-working, self-starter, with an ability to work independentlyWork at the Point of ImpactWe need to be forward-looking to attract the right people to help us become the Leading Global Long-term Investor. Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $135,000 and $175,100.
