Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$250,000.00/yr - $275,000.00/yrClient is seeking an experienced VP Head of Investment Accounting to lead a high-visibility team responsible for GAAP and Statutory investment reporting, process improvements, and control enhancements. Reporting to the SVP of Finance, this role oversees daily accounting and financial reporting, collaborates with a third-party asset manager for accurate data, and partners with senior leaders to ensure timely and controlled investment accounting activities. Key responsibilities include managing SOX controls, providing insights on investment performance, ensuring team cross-training, and staying current with market and regulatory changes. CPA preferred, 10+ years in investment accounting, 5+ years in management, and strong expertise in Fixed Income and Structured Securities. Experience in public accounting.A fuller job description is available, but the scope of the work includes: Being able to run a close; knowledge of Clearwater; being able to manage a team; knowledge around derivatives and being able to support a portfolio made up of Fixed Income, Structured Settlements and Alternatives; Blue Book experience: an ability to work in a scale up environment.
