Join us.Your role.Your work will include, but not be limited to:Managing and leading engagements by providing internal audits for a variety of engagements, including Enterprise Risk Management, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Gap Analysis, Internal Audit, Quality Assurance Review, SOX Compliance and Segregation of DutiesLead engagements and reporting assistance /analysis for engagements:Identify and analyze areas of potential risk to the assets, earning capacity, or success of the organizationIdentify key risks and mitigating factors of potential investments, such as asset types and values, legal and ownership structures, professional reputations, customer bases, or industry segmentsConduct statistical analyses to quantify risk, using statistical analysis software and econometric modelsDocument, and ensure communication of, key risksDevise systems and processes to monitor validity of risk modeling outputsDevelop and implement risk-assessment models and methodologiesPlan, and contribute to development of, risk management systemsProduce reports and presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions, and recommend changesGather risk-related data from internal or external resourcesParticipates in client meeting and site visits while interacting with top-level management to acquire and assess important information for engagementDelegates and manages the work of consultants in practice; monitors/maintains morale of engagementConduct performance reviews and contribute to feedback for staff; follow up with staff relative to career development objectives/planIdentifies needs for practice resources and recruits the right staff giving consideration to technical competencies and cultureEngages in client expansion and cross-serving with meaningful fees sold goal; recognizes importance of lead generationReview and lead proposals and engagement letter developmentProactively defines client relationships that best meet the objectives of both the client and P&MBegins to develop a wider understanding of client's business outside the scope of engagement by engaging with clients about how they are responding to current business trends and risks in their industry and see how we can helpBuilds a relationship with client decision-makers where ideas and new service offerings can be discussedEngages the client in conversation about business plan and strategy and identifies opportunities for involvementThe qualifications.8+ years of recent or current experience in an audit practice or the ERS practice of a public accounting firm or technical consultingBusiness experience in working with clients and managing multiple projectsProven practice development (sales) experience is requiredWhat makes us different?On the surface, we're one of the nation's largest audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management firms.
