The individual will have overall Financial and Accounting responsibility for S2 operations and be responsible for implementing a proper financial infrastructure for a growing division of a large public company. Effective communication with S2 Global clients, Rapiscan Systems' executive levels, and within the division is essential.The Director of Finance will possess significant accounting experience and outstanding analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities include maintaining the company’s books, delivering GAAP and SEC compliant financial reports, and managing accounting policies and processes. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work as a business partner with the S2 management team.ResponsibilitiesManage the monthly closing process for multiple legal entities, both domestic and international.Prepare monthly reporting packages, including US GAAP financial statements and schedules.Forecast P&L and Balance Sheet monthly and participate in annual budget planning.Reconcile all general ledger accounts timely.Coordinate with local finance teams for international programs.Assist in financial pricing models for bids and proposals.Develop and implement policies and procedures for control environment.Oversee financial and internal control audits, ensuring compliance with SOX and government standards.Drive process improvements leveraging key systems.Provide data for decision-making and recommend corrective actions.Act as a business partner for the management team regarding customer contracts and business growth.Uphold company values: Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.Ensure adherence to the Code of Ethics and Conduct.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s preferred.Experience with ASC 606, especially software revenue recognition.7+ years of financial management experience.Strong communication, analytical skills, and change management success.Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.Fluent in Spanish and English preferred.Other RequirementsHigh integrity and professionalism.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Ability to work across cultures and geographies.For more about our benefits, see: Life at OSI.Notice to AgenciesOSI Systems does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies without a signed agreement.
