OverviewLocation: Palo Alto, CADuration: On-GoingFrequency: 40 hours per weekJob Description:The quality auditor shall travel to various supplier facilities to perform process, product, or system audits on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies. Parts will be audited against engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications. The auditor will report findings and relevant information directly to the customer via a web application.Requirements:Candidate must have practical experience performing audits on complex machined parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies.Minimum of five years experience in inspections within aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.Experience auditing to engineering requirements specified by ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) or equivalent standard.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).Experience conducting First Article Inspections (FAIs) according to the AS9102 standard.Knowledge of Quality Management Systems compliant with AS9100.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.Must be computer savvy and own a laptop for this assignment.Note: Will be working as an independent contractor (1099). #J-18808-Ljbffr
