Responsibilities include assessing client requirements, providing expert advice, negotiating policies with insurance carriers, building and maintaining client relationships, conducting market research, and staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.Key Responsibilities:Examine documents such as application forms, inspection reports, insurance maps, and loss runs to assess risk factors.Review company records to determine insurance coverage and evaluate potential losses.Broker risks by obtaining necessary information, completing applications, confirming quotes and binders, issuing policies, making state filings, and securing payments.Analyze and qualify risks submitted by producers, evaluate submissions for premiums and terms, and issue quotes and binders.Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and brokerages to place risks and grow the business.Meet with retail agency customers to develop and expand business opportunities.Negotiate placements and be responsible for quote-to-bind activities and production results.Service existing clients, generate new business, and prioritize effectively.Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree or five years of insurance experience, including two years as an underwriting assistant.P&C State license.Proficiency with MS Office and paperless environments.Experience with excess and surplus lines underwriting.Preferred: CIC or CPCU designation, familiarity with ISO manuals, forms, rating plans, and policy coverage details.Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually.The pay range is based on experience, location, and budget considerations.Benefits & Well-Being:Health: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability Insurance.Financial: ESPP, 401k, Student Loan Assistance, Tuition Reimbursement.Mental Health & Wellness: Free Mental Health and Advocacy Services.Additional: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Partner Discounts, and more.Benefits may vary, with eligibility and enrollment periods applying.Our Commitment: As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we foster an inclusive environment embracing diversity, guided by our motto, “The Power to Be Yourself.” #J-18808-Ljbffr
