Overview Join to apply for the Global Finance Manager role at SOLAPS. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in the financial management and strategic growth of SOLAPS. Initially, this role focuses on managing cash flow, supplier payments, and securing additional funding during production. Long-term, the Finance Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, driving financial stability and profitability as SOLAPS scales operations globally. Note: Candidates will undergo a thorough interview process and complete a short project-based challenge before being offered the position. Key Accountabilities & Metrics Short-Term (Immediate Hire Objectives) Cash Flow Management: Maintain detailed weekly cash flow forecasts, ensuring accurate tracking of funds and supplier payments. Supplier Payments: Ensure 100% on-time payment to suppliers to avoid production delays. Funding: Secure an additional $50,000 in bridge funding within 3 months. Budgeting: Efficiently manage the $80,000 interim capital to meet production and scaling needs. Expected Results: Ensure smooth financial operations and production payments during scaling. Avoid cash flow issues while preparing for larger operational growth. Long-Term (Scalable Objectives) Financial Planning: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies for long-term growth. Capital Management: Handle large-scale funding and payments, including follow-on orders and interim capital allocation. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Lead tax planning, financial reporting, and compliance activities. Strategic Insights: Provide actionable insights to guide the company’s strategic direction. KPIs: Achieve a minimum Gross Profit Margin of 40%. Maintain a Cash Conversion Cycle of less than 60 days. Ensure financial stability and profitability during expansion. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred). 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in tech or manufacturing sectors. Expertise in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and strong analytical skills. Proven ability to manage cash flow, funding, and budgeting in fast-paced environments. Excellent leadership and communication skills to drive financial strategy and execution. Compensation Short-Term (Immediate Hire): Budget: $30,000 (part-time/consultant for 6 months). Flexible compensation options: Deferred payment terms or performance-based bonuses tied to immediate goals. Long-Term (Full-Time Role): Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
