This role involves leading and mentoring the investment accounting team, driving process improvements, and providing strategic investment insights to senior leadership and the board. The position manages relationships with outsourced investment accounting providers, ensuring effective collaboration, issue resolution, and adherence to deadlines.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field10+ years of investment accounting experience; 5+ years of leadership experience preferredExtensive knowledge of US statutory and GAAP investment accounting principles, investment products, and insurance industry regulationsExperience managing outsourced or third-party provider relationshipsLocation & CompensationNorwalk, CT – hybrid work environment. 3 days per week in the office.
