Further information is available at Follow @blackstone on LinkedIn, X, and Instagram.Job Title: Perpetual Finance Fund Accountant – Assistant Vice PresidentJob Description:Responsible for day-to-day activities related to fund accounting, reporting of open-ended core real estate funds administered both externally and internallyLiaise with third party fund administrator on items including, but not limited to cash, capital allocations, accruals and expense budgeting, financial statements, capital call drawdown notices, distributions, redemptions, and ad-hoc investor requestsReview quarterly estimates and final fund NAVsResponsible for calculation of waterfall and incentive modelsManage the expense process and compliance with fund LPAs and firm policiesResponsible for financial deliverables associated with BX quarterly closeResponsible for production of quarterly and annual fund partnerships’ GAAP financial statementsCoordinate with external auditors for annual auditReview quarterly and annual financial regulatory reportingCoordinate with internal audit to ensure SOX complianceCollaborate with multiple internal teams including Tax, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Legal & Compliance, Investor Client Services, FP&A, Technology, and TreasuryResponsible for management of offshore teamQualifications:BS (or above) in Accounting or FinanceCPA preferred6+ years of audit, fund or administrator experienceExperience with open-ended funds; real estate industry experience is preferredInvestment Company accounting knowledgeKnowledge of common industry performance metrics requiredA collaborative team player, always willing to assist colleaguesPossess a strong work ethic and professional integrityWorks well in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentThe duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
