Tax Senior Manager, Private Client ServicesJoin to apply for the Tax Senior Manager, Private Client Services role at BDO USAJob OverviewPrivate Client Services at BDO is a boutique practice within our firm, specializing in serving high net-worth individuals, their families, family offices, C-Suite executives, athletes, entertainers, and others with complex tax and financial structures. Our expertise covers estate, income, gift, and trust tax consulting and compliance; charitable giving and philanthropic foundations; executive compensation; and cash-flow, retirement, and life insurance planning.ResponsibilitiesManage tax and consulting engagements, identifying client needs and opportunities for tax planning and consulting.Serve as the primary client contact, presenting issues and solutions with professionalism and confidence.Review complex tax returns across various entities and provide feedback to municate with government agencies on complex matters.Conduct advanced tax research, identify technical issues, and develop recommendations.Enhance your tax knowledge through client engagements and current developments.Prioritize and review work to ensure timely completion.Utilize analytical and decision-making skills to assist clients with individual and business decisions.Contribute to firm initiatives including billing, recruiting, and training.Build and maintain relationships with clients, professionals, and external sources.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervise associates and senior associates, reviewing their work and providing training.Act as a career mentor, providing performance feedback.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics; Master’s preferred.Minimum of 7 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or law, with private client service experience.Supervisory experience required.CPA, EA, Attorney, or equivalent certification required.Skills and AbilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.Experience with tax software and research tools is preferred.Strong initiative, communication, leadership, technical, business development, and people development skills.Additional InformationSalary ranges vary by location, e.g., California: $146,000 - $200,000.
